  • No. Avara Wellness Care complements — but does not replace — an established primary care provider. Patients are encouraged to maintain primary care for routine, urgent, and preventive needs.

  • Wellness-focused medical care is provided by licensed nurse practitioner. We do collaborate with a physician as required by Texas law, but the collaborating physician does not see clients or conduct visits through Avara Wellness Care.

  • Avara Wellness Care was created to offer care that feels intentional, unrushed, and human.

We believe meaningful care takes time — and that wellness is personal, not one-size-fits-all.

  • Rather than focusing on diagnoses, we focus on symptoms, goals, and wellness support. Care plans are individualized and may include lifestyle guidance, nutrition support, select prescriptions, and referrals when appropriate.

  • When appropriate and within scope, licensed providers may prescribe medications or recommend supplements. These decisions are made collaboratively and based on thoughtful evaluation.

  • Wellness coaching is optional, supportive, and educational. Coaching helps patients apply and sustain their care plan between clinician visits through individualized, focused guidance.

Coaching does not replace medical care.

  • LifeForce Lifestyle Wellness Coaching does not include prescribed meal plans or individualized nutrition prescriptions.

Instead, coaching focuses on nutrition education, habit-building, and practical guidance to help you apply nutrition principles in a way that fits your preferences, schedule, and lifestyle.

Your wellness coach may help you:

    • Understand balanced meals and portion guidance

    • Improve protein and nutrient consistency

    • Develop routines around meals and snacks

    • Identify barriers to following nutrition recommendations

    • Apply general nutrition guidance provided by your medical team

If you require a personalized meal plan or medical nutrition therapy from a dietitian for a specific disease or concern, your provider can help you identify appropriate clinical referrals or resources.

Wellness coaching supports education and habit change—it does not replace medical or dietetic care.
